I don’t know about you, but I think the Howlie costume is a scream. Now I know that few mascot costumes have the wearer’s face exposed, but that would really hamper the visual communication in a comic. And something about having Puck’s face protruding through Howlie’s grotesque open mouth is both unseemly and amusing.

Check out the Valentine’s Day voting incentive on TWC if you haven’t already! It’s hot. It’s steamy. Did I mention the steam?

Though this particular incentive pic isn’t available through voting on TWC anymore, you can purchase the pic from the store. It’s only a buck for a set of five voting incentives! That’s what I call a deal!

Look on the bright side...
Aw Puck needs to look upon the bright side of things for once. :D

Yeah the costume's a bit ulgy, but with a little work it could be wonders for her. :)

So has Puck forgotten that she can change shape into animals, particularly for the purpose of mischief?

Yes, it's MORE humiliating! But it's more humiliating in an ethical way!

Actually nah, not really!

And something about having Puck’s face protruding through Howlie’s grotesque open mouth is both unseemly and amusing.

Given the last panel, it's a face with jaws wide open and inside the jaws is another face that in it with it's jaws wide open.

Didn't know this was a horror comic! Mind you, succubus to the right, cyborg girl to the left - I guess I'm a bit slow to seeing the obvious!

I'm curious how Puck's daughter will react to seeing her in that get up. The comedy potential boggles the mind.

@Marcus: Puck is contractually obligated to never look on the bright side of anything. At all.

@Zodo: Yeah, she forgot that centuries ago. The only power she retains from her former life as a fairy is the power to complain.

@darknoon: True horror, the type that hits you on a deep, psychological level, is hard to manage. But I think this comic comes relatively close.

@c_arnold: stop predicting my future jokes!

@Zodo: the thought had crossed my mind too. Maybe she could pick up a case of lycanthropy somewhere. It'd have to be alpha strain H. Lyco, because beta forces you to shift on the full moon...gamma, you lose your mind on the shift and bite people by instinct, and delta, you just kill anyone you run across...

ElectricGecko, September 8th, 2012, 7:54 pm

@Fionn: And here I was, not even knowing there were multiple strains of lycanthropy. The things you learn...
