This site is the Smackjeeves mirror site for Puck where older comics are posted. The actual Puck website contains the latest content at...

Puck originally started as a university newspaper comic way back in the prehistoric days of 1998. It was reborn in 2011, and is now running weekly, in color. You can see the original run of eighty strips AND the new colour strips all here!
After seeing Satan’s competition, my wife said, “Oh, so it really is like a Hamilton mayoral election, then?” I go for unerring accuracy in all of my comics.
SERIOUS-TYPE NOTE TO READERS:
I feel it fair to let you guys know that Puck might be changing sites in the coming months. I’ll likely be moving to a Comicpress-based site, but I don’t have any specifics yet. Once I switch, I’ll give you lots of notice and lots of links and all that. I’ll likely also keep updating on Smackjeeves with teasers or backdated comics so those of you who love SJ can still get your Puck fix.
My reasons for jumping ship are numerous, but the primary reason is that I’ve been under attack by a malicious ad-clicking bot for the past two months; said bot has lost me hundreds of dollars in revenue. SJ admin hasn’t helped me (or even replied to me) concerning this problem. If I run my own site, I’ll have the webmaster tools I need to fight back – or at least try to fight back against this bot. I’m not in the comics biz for the money, but that cash was critical for funding the site, offsetting my ad costs and allowing me to purchase supplies. Without that income, it’s become very hard for me to keep Puck going. And I really do want to keep Puck going.
On another note, I’m really thankful for all the SJ readers who tune into Puck, but there aren’t many of you guys. Puck is periodically listed on the front page of SJ as one of the most popular comics on the site, but only two percent of my regular readership has an account on Smackjeeves. (For example, Toilet Genie is an awesome SJ comic with about the same pageview stats as Puck; it currently has 3000+ registered SJ readers. Puck has under 200.) It’s been a great site for hosting, but I just feel that Puck is not suited to the SJ readership -- hence the lacklustre response. That said, I do want to maintain a presence here, so I’m not abandoning the site totally.
I’ll keep everyone posted and keep my fingers crossed in the hope that I don’t lose too many readers when I change sites.
And for those who missed out on older voting incentives, they’re now all available at the STORE for a mere pittance! A pittance, I say!
