I initially didn’t even plan to have Puck actually catch Satan, but the comic possibilities were just too good to pass up.

A vote for Puck on TWC will give you a glimpse into the booze-soaked revelry of a new year’s party at the Puck household!

And for those who missed out on older voting incentives, they’re now all available at the STORE for a mere pittance! A pittance, I say!

Well what do you know: Good things do come out from savage beatings.

ElectricGecko, January 7th, 2013, 9:13 pm

@godmoderncommander: It all depends on the identity of the beatee. This is pretty good, but if only Puck had gone crazy and savagely beaten Lindsay Lohan... Now THAT would have been an achievement!

This webcomic is amazing, I found about it a little while ago and if it weren't for little things like life getting in the way I would have read straight through, and now I want more, the only complain I have is that it doesn't have a tv tropes page, yet.

Let's always to be on Puck good side, shall we ?

He could have sued her for nigh of forty-six dollars and twenty seven cents!

Phoebes is just soooo concerned about Dear Old Dad ;) but I bet a little surprised Puck was able get close enough to tear him a new one.

ElectricGecko, January 8th, 2013, 11:58 am

@Xavier13: Glad you like! My lack of a TV Tropes page can probably be chalked up to my total ignorance of TV Tropes and anything to do with that site. I know some people like it. I've actually visited it before in an attempt to see what all the fuss was about, but I got confused. Please don't judge me; I'm an internet senior (which means I'm in my thirties). If someone else has the knowledge, power or impetus to make a Puck TV Tropes page, I grant you full authority!

@Michael corley: I think they could hawk the flat-screen TV for a few dollars more. Then again, that's probably Phoebe's TV. So yeah. I'm not even sure they could wring a fiver out of her.

@gumby_dammit223: For some reason, I found the idea of Phoebe responding in a very nonchalant manner to be funny. Perhaps this sort of thing has happened with her dad before. It's old hat by now.

Déjà vu is coming to me; Puck looks just like me after one of my *ahem* insanity sprees.

Scott's Folly (Guest), January 8th, 2013, 6:04 pm

In other 'good'(?) news, apparently the bandages mean Satan's face doesn't need to remain in the dark, presumably as it's still invisible. It's always good to let the Angel of Shadows take some time off once in a while.

ElectricGecko, January 8th, 2013, 8:55 pm

@Riv: We've all been there: the blood on the clothes, the foggy memories of how it got there...

@Scott's Folly: Apparently the purple shadow of eternal darkness is lifted when Satan is both unconscious and somehow otherwise obscured. Or whenever the purple shadow of eternal darkness would obscure key details that need to be seen, like bloody bandages.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

How long will this story arc be?
Can you keep this story line going until the actual next municipal elections in the fall of 2014? Or are you going to hold the election in the spring of this year?

ElectricGecko, January 9th, 2013, 12:16 pm

@David Nuttall: Well, when I'm doing one strip a week, it seems that it takes me half a year to get ANY story arc done, but have no fear. I plan to be rid of this story arc after another five or six strips. Hey, I gotta get back to the interminable pregnancy story arc! Can't forget that one!

Hitokiri Akins (Guest), January 10th, 2013, 8:28 am

I like how Puck say "I beat him like a Blind Baby Monkey!". Being a redhead herself, I doubt she'd use "Beat him like a redheaded step-child!" one that's so common.

ElectricGecko, January 10th, 2013, 12:09 pm

@Hitokiri Akins: That was actually one of the few 'beat like a' similes that I didn't consider using in panel two. I remember the runner-up was 'beat him like a three-legged kitten.'

Woo Hoo
Just found this comic today and I am in love. D's shirts have me in tears. Does someone actually make a Jet Jaguar shirt?

ElectricGecko, January 14th, 2013, 7:30 pm

@steelCOYOTE: Thanks so much for letting me know you like this stuff! It means a lot. But to answer your question, I'd say that the internet is BOUND to have a Jet Jaguar shirt available ... somewhere. After approximately thirty seconds of research on Google, though, I've determined that (A) they all seem to be sold out, and (B) they all look way crappier than Daphne's cool shirt. Seriously, though, I spent about three hours carefully crafting the vector for that Daphne shirt. It was a labor of love. She'll have to re-wear that one soon.
